Hi,
My name is Mark, I'm 19, one of my hobbies is keeping herps. Unfortunatley, I'm limited by space and money, so my collection is quite small.
Currently I keep a pair of normal phase Leopard Geckos (I've had the male for about 10 years now) and a Deep Yellow morph, male, Uromastyx maliensis. Nothing special, or spectacular, but fun nonetheless. :)
Mark.

Re: Hello.
Wed, September 29, 2004 - 1:27 PMHello there Mark. It is nice to meet you.
I started off with tropical snakes (mostly various boas and pythons). Then I added many domestic species (too many to name). After that I got into lizards (Blue Tongued Skinks, Uromastix, Bearded Dragons, Iguanas, Texas Banded Geckos, and more) and spiders. Now I am a gecko keeper. After feeding and breeding hundreds of snakes these guys are relatively simple.
I have nine Leopard Geckos (several phases), three African Fat-Tailed Geckos (a tangerine phase, striped and regular phase) and three viper geckos currently.
I understand what you mean by having a space limitation. Before I ended up giving the reptiles their own room and then two of their own rooms. Now my geckos are set up in habitats (four of them) in my bedroom. The night lights are the harded thing to get used to initially. Otherwise it seems to be working out. :)
