...And to our newest tribe-member, Jon...nice "hot" snakes!

Used to keep a few, myself...mostly a few Western Diamondback Rattlers and a Gaboon...when I became a Dad, I decided to close that chapter, for obvious reasons!

    Anyway, welcome!

I just love my hots. I also keep and breed reticulated pythons. I'm working with albinos and tiger morphs as well as the jampea dwarf retics.

Had a retic many years ago...when I track down his pic, I'll post it...big gold-head named "Pete"...only retic I've ever known that stayed docile upon reaching sexual maturity...died at age 21/17 feet a few years back.

My main python "fix" is the African Rock (P. sebae natilensis)...I love these and plan to find my male a mate ASAP..right after I move to the country (the city I live in doesn't allow any snake that can grow over 6' OR any boa/python), so "Targus" is living with a buddy of mine, along with my trio of Red-tailed Boas) in about a month or so...

Tell us about the jampea dwarf retics...I've heard a little about them, but the article was pretty sketchy...Did you get them from Bob Clark, in Oklahoma, by any chance?

My male is around 6ft and is about 5 years old(I'm guessing) I got him as a rescue from a pet store. My female I got from a friend. She's pushing 10ft and is about the same age. Both have been activly breeding for the last 2 weeks almost 3 now. It looks like the female is ovulating and the male is still activly copulating with her. I do have some really large normal retics. My female silver phase is just under 18ft and close to 150lbs, and my male tiger retic is just over 16ft and about 100lbs. I have an albino that is just under 6ft and growing like a weed, I plan on breeding him next year to another one of my female tiger retics(if she's big enough by then) In all including dwarfs I have about 8 retics 3 burms and a bunch of hots
